04.06.2015
Jack Warner, former Fifa vice president, made a televised address in Trinidad on Wednesday night, saying he will prove a link between soccer's governing body and his nation's elections in 2010.
Mr Warner is among nine Fifa officials and five corporate executives charged by the US Department of Justice with running a criminal enterprise that involved more than $150 million in bribes. He has maintained his innocence but showed that he planned to fight back with his own explosive revelations of wrongdoing, apparently aimed at galvanising local support. Warner said, "I will no longer keep secrets for them who actively seek to destroy the country."
